Lebanon, TN –Thursday, September 28th, at noon was the deadline for candidates to turn in their petitions to be on the November 7th Republican and Democratic Special Election ballot to fill the District 17 State Senate vacancy. NEW ELECTION BILL PASSES

Lebanon, TN – An election bill allowing poll officials to volunteer their time as a public service sponsored by State Senator Mae Beavers and State Representative Susan Lynn, became law on April 4th. The adoption of this law offers the opportunity for local high school students to earn necessary volunteer hours they need for their Tennessee Scholars and Tennessee Promise scholarships. Election Commission Signs Agreement with School Board

Lebanon, TN –The Wilson County Election Commission signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Wilson County School Board during its regular meeting on January 10th to use a portion of the renovated 415 Harding Dr. School Board Facility. Work has started on the building and campus at 415 Harding Dr., the Old Lebanon High School property, with completion anticipated in October of 2017.
