Election Commission Registers Voters at the Elmcroft Health Fair

  Lebanon, TN – The Wilson County Election Commission provided voter registration and election information at the Elmcroft Health Fair. Voter Tip #6–Does my voter registration automatically transfer if I move within TN?

Registering to vote in Tennessee is by county. If you have moved to Wilson County from any other Tennessee county or from another state you will need to complete a new registration to be eligible to vote in Wilson County. Your Tennessee driver’s license does transfer from county to county within Tennessee, but not your voter registration. The Department of Safety requires that they be notified of any change of address within 10 days. When you change your address on your license, online or in person, always change your voter registration.
