Date for Sales Tax Referendum Set by Election Commission

Lebanon, TN –The Wilson County Election Commissioners met on Thursday, August 14th to call an election for  Tuesday, September 23,2014  for a City of Lebanon Sales and Use Tax Referendum.  The Lebanon City Council voted to hold a referendum to raise the local sales and use tax from 2.25% to 2.75% in March.  The Wilson County Commission voted to opt in to the sales tax referendum and include the question on the County General election.
